Gregory Mulamba's 89th minute unassisted goal created a 2-2 draw Thursday for the host Laredo Heat and the visiting DFW Tornados in United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League play Thursday at the Texas A&M International University Soccer Complex.
Orlando Bayona gave Laredo the opening lead in the 41st minute off a Joel Perez assist, but Paulo De Silva would knot the score in the 58th minute and Dallas took a 2-1 lead in the 79th minute off Stephen McCarty's lone-played goal.
Laredo is 4-1-4 with 16 points, five points behind the Austin Aztex U-23s for the lead in the Southern Conference, Mid-South Division.
DFW is 1-5-3 with six points and is in sixth in the division.
Both teams face the Rio Grande Valley Bravos this weekend -- Laredo welcomes them to town Friday, DFW travels to them Saturday.
