Gruenewald Goes Kraze-y In Road Win Over Blackhawks

Jon Gruenewald led the Central Florida Kraze to a 3-0 shutout of the Atlanta Blackhawks Friday in United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League play at Alpharetta High School in Alpharetta, GA.

He had an unassisted goal in the 18th minute and assisted Dennis Chin on a goal in the final minute of the first half. Tanner Wolfe opened the scoring in the 16th with a goal off a Tomislav Krizanovic assist for the Kraze.

Central Florida, at 2-5-2 with eight points, is tied for fifth place in the Southern Conference, Southeast Division with the Panama City Pirates (2-3-2), who the Blackhawks travel to face Sunday. The Kraze's next game is Saturday at the Nashville Metros.

Atlanta, 2-6-1 with seven points and in seventh place.
