Gaudette, Shipalane Named USL's Best Of The Week

Goalkeeper Bill Gaudette of the Puerto Rico Islanders and midfielder Tiyi Shipalane of the Harrisburg City Islanders were named United Soccer Leagues First and Second Division Players of the Week, respectively, Tuesday.

Gaudette led the Islanders, the defending USL1 regular season champion, to two shutout wins over the Charleston Battery.

Shipalane scored two goals and assisted on a third in a 4-0 win over the Real Maryland Monarchs.
