Galaxy Snap Their Losing Streak, Dynamo's Unbeaten String

Todd Dunivant scored the lone goal of the game on a Mike McGee pass in the 24th minute as the Los Angeles Galaxy stunned the Western Conference-leading Houston Dynamo, 1-0, Sunday in a Major League Soccer upset from The Home Depot Center.

The victory, LA's second in their last nine games, ended their own two-game losing streak but also snapped Houston's 11-game unbeaten streak.

The Dynamo retain the top spot in the conference standings at 8-3-4 with 28 points and the Galaxy are 3-3-9 with 18 points and in sixth place.

Both teams play on the Fourth of July -- Houston travels to the Kansas City Wizards, Los Angeles hosts the New England Revolution.
