Fury Runs Down The Express In Newark

Liam Maloney assisted on a Paul Kihara goal in the 25th minute and scored with the help of William Beauge in the 80th minute as the Ottawa Fury defeated the host Newark Ironbound Express, 4-1, in United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League play Sunday at Lubetkin Field on the campus of the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Brien Chamney (67') and Florian Decamps (90') also scored goals for Ottawa, 5-0-1 with 16 points and tied for second in the Eastern Conference, Northeast Division with the Ocean City Barons (5-1-1). The Fury have a busy week, hosting the New Hampshire Phantoms Tuesday and traveling to the league-leading Long Island Rough Riders Saturday and the Westchester Flames next Sunday.

The Express (5-6-0, 15) are fourth in the division and face the Rhode Island Stingrays at Rhode Island College Saturday.
