Jennifer Hance scored in the 21st minute off a Ria Percival assist and Michelle Evans helped out Amber Hearn on her 60th minute goal as the host Ottawa Fury improved to 6-0-0 and 18 points on the season Thursday and took over the lead in the United Soccer Leagues W-League with a 2-0 win over the expansion Quebec City Amiral in a top divisional contest at the Algonquin College Soccer Complex.
Quebec City falls to second at 5-2-0 with 15 points.
Both teams meet again in Quebec City next Sunday, but each team has other opponents to deal with before then.
The Amiral will be at the London Gryphons Saturday and the Hamilton Avalanche Sunday.
Ottawa can rest up until next Friday when they travel to the Laval Comets.
