Jeffrey Jennings, Brad Stisser and Joseph Madigan scored first half goals as the Real Colorado Foxes defeated the St. Louis Lions, 3-1, Sunday in United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League play at the Tony Glavin Soccer Complex.
Josh Fallin assisted on Jennings' 17th minute goal, Moseley John did so for Stisser in the 21st minute and Kyle Christensen wrapped up Colorado's first half helping Madigan in the 32nd minute.
Nestot Hernandez scored St. Louis' lone goal off a Brian Harris assist in the 89th minute.
The Foxes are the leader of the Central Conference, Heartland Division with a 6-3-1 record and 19 points. They are off until next Friday when they travel to meet the defending league champion Thunder Bay Chill.
The Lions open play in the 2009 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup tournament Tuesday night on the road against the Cleveland City Stars of the USL First Division, then return to league play Saturday by hosting the Kansas City Brass.
