Defenders Sarah Wagenfuhr and Erika Sutton of the United Soccer Leagues W-League's expansion Buffalo Flash have been invited to a two-day tryout camp for the Boston Breakers of Women's Professional Soccer, the Flash announced Tuesday.
Flash head coach Aaran Lines called the invitations "a mark of respect for the level of player we have here at (the) Buffalo Flash".
Wagenfuhr played briefly in WPS with the Chicago Red Stars, but was recently released. She is a two-time college All-American who played on three NCAA Final Four teams, one National Championship team and a championship team with the US U-20 Women's National Team.
Sutton played in the amateur Women's Premier Soccer Legues and led the Colorado Rush to three straight state cup championships.
The Flash host the Rochester Ravens Friday at Orchard Park High School in Orchard Park, NY.
