The Houston Dynamo Tuesday traded forward Chris Wondolowski and a conditional 2010 pick in the Major League Soccer SuperDraft to the San Jose Earthquakes in exchange for forward Cam Weaver.
Weaver, in his rookie season in MLS after playing one year in the United Soccer Leagues and two more in Norway, started five of nine games this season for the last-place Earthquakes and had one goal and two assists.
Wondolowski has scored eight goals in 58 games with the Dynamo.
