Cougars, Force Trade Goals In Draw

The Real Colorado Cougars and Colorado Force traded goals in a 2-2 draw Thursday in United Soccer Leagues W-League play at Loveland Sports Park in Loveland, CO.

After a scoreless first half, Karter Haug sent a pass to Kerstyn Farrell as Real Colorado opened the scoring in the 54th minute.

Colorado went up, 2-1, as Shay Powell connected with Molly Thomas on a 63rd minute play and Sarah Campbell did the same for Emmalie Pfankuch in the 76th minute.

Brianna Young would eventually create the tie in the 86th minute for Real Colorado on an unassisted goal.

Real Colorado is in second place in the Western Conference standings with a 2-2-1 record and seven points. Colorado is 0-1-1 with a point and in fifth place.

Both teams meet again Sunday, this time at Colorado's Shea Stadium.
