Zack Schilawski and Olukorede Aiyegbusi scored goals as the expansion Cary Clarets shut out the West Virginia Chaos, 2-0, Sunday in United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League play from Schoenbaum Stadium.
Ryan Bennett assisted on Aiyegbusi's goal in the 84th minute. Schilawski's was unassisted in the 54th minute.
Cary is 4-2-1 with 13 points and in second place in the Eastern Conference, Mid-Atlantic Division, three points behind the Reading Rage, who the Clarets face on the road this Sunday.
West Virginia is 1-4-3 with six points and in sixth place. They will play twice this week -- Wednesday at the FC Fredericksburg Gunners and Sunday at the Northern Virginia Royals.
