In the final minute of regulation play, Nolan Intermoia scored on an assist from Chance Bukoski as the defending United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League champion Thunder Bay Chill played to a 1-1 draw with the Des Moines Menace Friday at Chapples Park in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
The Menace scored the opening goal with 26 minutes left in the game.
Des Moines is in third place in the Central Conference, Heartland Division with a 3-0-4 record and 13 points.
Thunder Bay is 2-1-2 with eight points and in fifth place.
Both teams meet again at Chapples Park Saturday.
