Maroua Chebbi broke apart a 2-2 tie with a pair of unassisted goals in the 85th and 88th minutes as the expansion Quebec City Amiral beat the London Gryphons, 4-2, at Seminaire St. Francios Field in Quebec City Friday in a United Soccer Leagues W-League game.
Melissa Lesage opened the scoring in the 10th minute for the Amiral on a Francine Brosseau assist, then London countered a minute later on an Amanda Waugh unassisted goal.
The Gryphons took the 2-1 halftime lead when Melissa Smith helped out Devon Beach with a 24th minute goal, but Cristina Di Ieslsi fed a pass to Genevieve Marcotte in the 53rd minute to tie the game at 2-2 before Chebbi's duo.
The Amiral lead the Central Conference, Great Lakes Division at 5-1-0 with 15 points and are at the Ottawa Fury Thursday.
London, in seventh place with two points and an 0-3-2 mark, will meet the Laval Comets on the road Sunday.
