Major League Soccer's current Player of the Week and Player of the Month for May, Colorado Rapids forward Conor Casey, was called up to the US Men's National Team Thursday in advance of Saturday's 2010 FIFA World Cup Qualifying match in Chicago's Soldier Field against Honduras.
Casey, who last played for the US in a 2-0 win over Guatemala in November 2008 at Dick's Sporting Goods Park, will possibly replace Houston Dynamo forward Brian Ching, who aggravated a hamstring injury and did not dress for Wednesday's 3-1 loss to Costa Rica.
