Bundy, Hammerheads Upset City Islanders

Kenny Bundy assisted Tim Karalexis on a halftime goal and scored off a Chris Murray 70th minute pass as the host Wilmington Hammerheads upset the United Soccer Leagues Second Division-leading Harrisburg City Islanders, 3-2, Saturday at Legion Sports Complex.

Jamie Watson scored in the 20th minute for the Hammerheads, countering the City Islanders' first goal from Jason Massie to Chad Severs in the 19th minute. David Schofield had an unassisted goal in the final minute of the game for Harrisburg.

Harrisburg remains on top at 7-3-2 with 23 points, but the Hammerheads (6-3-2, 20 points) are tied for second in the USL2 rankings with the Richmond Kickers (5-2-5) and will host the Charlotte Eagles Thursday. After playing Major League Soccer's New England Revolution Tuesday in the 2009 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup tournament, they will host Crystal Palace Baltimore at Skyline Sports Complex Friday.
