Kenny Uzoigwe scored the game-winning goal in the 77th minute off a Tony Walls assist as the Michigan Bucks defended their turf at Ultimate Soccer Arenas in Pontiac, MI Thursday with a 2-1 win over the Fort Wayne Fever in United Soccer Leagues First Division play.
Jake Stacy opened the scoring for Michigan on a Pete Nowak pass in the 21st minute but, in the 58th minute, Chas Perry connected with Keith Detelj to tie the score.
Michigan (6-2-1) is tied for second place in the Central Conference, Great Lakes Division with the Chicago Fire (5-1-4) at 19 points.
Fort Wayne is 2-5-1 with seven points and in sixth place.
Both teams have a common road opponent next in the Cincinnati Kings -- the Bucks travel there this Saturday, Fort Wayne does so the next Saturday.
