There's nothing to feel blue about for the Miami FC Blues of the United Soccer Leagues First Division.
Thanks to goals in the 22nd and 30th minutes by Diego Serna and Connally Edozien, the Blues snapped a three-game home losing streak and ended a 272-minute home scoreless streak in a 2-0 victory over the Austin Aztex Sunday at Lockhart Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Paulo Araujo, Jr. assisted on Edozien's goal.
Miami (3-5-1) and Austin (2-5-4) have 10 points each and are tied for eighth in the single table standings.
Both teams take a break from league play Tuesday to compete in the second round of the 2009 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup tournament.
The Blues host fellow USL1 franchise Charleston Battery with the winner to face Chivas USA of Major League Soccer in the third round.
Meanwhile, the Aztex host the El Paso Patriots with the winner there getting MLS' Houston Dynamo in round three.
After that, the Blues travel to the Cleveland City Stars for a two-game road trip Thursday and Saturday and the Aztex host the Carolina Railhawks Friday.
