The defending United Soccer Leagues W-League champion Pali Blues got a 54th minute goal by Iris Mora with an assist from Madeline Washington as they played the Vancouver Whitecaps to a 1-1 draw Sunday at Swangard Stadium.
Kirsteen Buchan was fed a pass from Amy Vermeulen in the 28th minute for the Whitecaps' score.
Pail is 2-0-2 with eight points and tied for second place in the Western Conference with the Real Colorado Cougars, their opponent on the road this Friday at Shea Stadium.
Vancouver played to their third draw in as many games and are in fourth place with three points (0-0-3). They will host the Los Angeles Legends Friday.
