Blanco White Hot For Fuego In Win Over Rattlers

Nehemias Blanco's unassisted goal one minute before halftime gave the Fresno Fuego a 2-1 victory over the Lancaster Rattlers in United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League play Friday at Antelope Valley High School in Lancaster, CA.

Fresno's first goal came off a penalty kick from Adrian Alvarado in the 13th minute, which Lancaster's Miguel Ibarra countered in the 33rd minute to tie the score at 1-1.

Fresno is 3-4-2 with 11 points and is tied for fifth place in the PDL's Western Conference, Southwest Division with the BYU Cougars (3-3-2).

Lancaster is 1-6-1 with four points and tied for last with the Ogden Outlaws (1-5-1).

Both teams are at the Orange County Blue Star for their next game -- Fresno Saturday, Lancaster Sunday.
