Blackhearted Pirates Slip Past Blachawks In Atlanta

Luke Sheekey (55') and Hansen Woodruff (62') scored unassisted second half goals to lead the Panama City Pirates to a 2-1 victory over the expansion Atlanta Blackhawks in United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League play Thursday at Alpharetta High School in Alpharetta, GA.

Long Tan prevented a shutout as Moussa Toure assisted on an 81st minute goal for the Blackhawks.

Panama City is 2-2-2 with eight points and tied with the Nashville Metros (2-4-2) for fourth place in the Southern Conference, Southeast Division.

Atlanta, meanwhile, is 2-4-1 with seven points and in fifth place.

Both teams are hosting games Saturday -- Panama City welcomes the Mississippi Brilla and the New Orleans Jesters visit Atlanta.
