The last time the Seattle Sounders and Vancouver Whitecaps teams in the United Soccer Leagues W-League played May 16 at Vancouver's Swangard Stadium, they played to a 1-1 draw.
Same two teams, different date and location (This time, it was Wednesday at the Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila, WA), same result.
Jodi-Ann Robinson put the visiting Whitecaps on top in the 46th minute, then watched as Seattle's Lyndsey Patterson fired the game-tying shot in the 62nd minute.
Seattle remains the leader in the Western Conference standings at 2-0-2 with eight points and Vancouver is in fourth at 0-0-2 with two points.
Both teams host a common opponent this weekend -- the defending W-League champion Pali Blues. Seattle hosts them Friday, then they travel to Vancouver Saturday.
