Renegades Score...And Also For Their Opponents

Alissa Oldenkamp had a goal and an assist and Corie Halasz assisted on two other goals as the host Boston Renegades edged the New Jersey Wildcats, 3-2, in United Soccer Leagues W-Leagie play Saturday at Framingham State College.

The Renegades, though, allowed the Wildcats into the game by scoring own goals in the 82nd and 90th minutes to go 2-1-1 with seven points and tie for the lead in the Eastern Conference, Northeast Division with the Long Island Rough Riders. Boston hits the road Saturday to face the Hudson Valley Quickstrike Lady Blues.

New Jersey is 1-1-0 with three points and in seventh in the division. They take on the Western Mass Lady Pioneers, the worst team in the league, on the road Sunday.
