Lady Eagles Rally For A Point With Hellenic

Hailey Beam had an unassisted goal in the 74th minute and Lourdes Quigley assisted Laura Novikoff on an 89th minute play as the Charlotte Lady Eagles rallied from being two goals down to force a 2-2 draw with the host Tampa Bay Hellenic Saturday in United Soccer Leagues W-League action at the Ed Radice Sports Complex in Tampa, FL.

Tampa Bay, who are 2-1-1 with seven points and tied with the Cary Clarets (2-0-1) for second place in the Eastern Conference, Atlantic Division, took the 2-0 lead on a Sonia Curvelo-to-Jasmine Johnson pass in the 26th minute and a Sarah Chapman penalty kick in the 35th minute.

Charlotte is 1-2-1 with four points and are in fifth place in the division.

Both teams play again in Charlotte this Saturday.
