Johnny Menyongar scored goals in the eighth minute off Andrew Gregor and in the 44th off Taiwo Atieno to give the Rochester Rhinos their first United Soccer Leagues First Division win of the season Sunday, 2-1, over the Miami FC Blues at Lockhart Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
The Rhinos, now 1-1-1 with four points and tied for fifth with the defending regular season champion Puerto Rico Islanders (1-0-1, four). They next travel to Cleveland Friday to face the former USL Second Division champion City Stars.
Miami's Connally Edozien knotted the game at 1-1 with help from Zoukar Tsiskaridze in the 20th minute for their only goal. The Blues, at 2-1-0 with six points and in second place in the standings, three points behind the Carolina RailHawks, hosts the Charleston Battery Saturday.
