La Raza de Monterrey's Mark Ughy was named Tuesday the final National Indoor Soccer League Player of the Week after scoring a hat trick and assisting on his team's first goal in a 19-4 victory Sunday over the Baltimore Blast, the regular season champion.
Ughy finished second on the team and fifth in the league in points with 47 on 19 goals and nine assists.
Monterrey now faces the Rockford Rampage in a two-game semifinal playoff series Thursday at home and Sunday in Rockford, IL. The winner of the series travels to the Blast to play for the inaugural NISL Championship.
