MLS Announces First Week Of Nominees For Goal Of The Week

Major League Soccer Monday announced the first nominees for Sierra Mist Goal of the Week, voted on by fans at www.mlsnet.com.

They are:

- Fredy Montero, Seattle Sounders
- Kenny Cooper, FC Dallas
- Davy Arnaud, Kansas City Wizards
- Guillermo Barros Schelotto, Columbus Crew
- Amado Guevara, Toronto FC
- Cuahtemoc Blanco, Chicago Fire
- Paulo Nagamura, Chivas USA
- Chris Pontius, DC United

Voting takes place through Wednesday with results announced Thursday. The winner automatically qualifies for consideration as the Sierra Mist Goal of the Year.
