The New Jersey Ironmen of the Xtreme Soccer League traded forward Frederico Moojen to the Chicago Storm for forward Randi Patterson Saturday.
Moojen was the Major Indoor Soccer League's final Rookie of the Year last season, scoring 52 points for the Ironmen on one three-point goal, 21 two-point goals and seven assists. This season, he had four two-point goals and an assist with the team.
Moojen will be eligible to play Sunday with the Storm when they travel to US Cellular Arena to play the Milwaukee Wave,
Patterson led the Charleston Battery of the United Soccer Leagues First Division in goals (10) and points (21) this past summer and has played in seven games for the Storm.
He was a two-time Southern Conference Player of the Year at North Carolina-Greensboro, where he scored 61 goals and 19 assists in four seasons.
